Dr. Mariya Prokhorova, Chiropractor, DC

chiropractor montreal

Dr. Mariya Prokhorova is a chiropractor who graduated in 2026 from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Before pursuing her studies in chiropractic, she earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from McGill University, with a minor in entrepreneurship. This background gave her a deep understanding of human movement and physical performance long before she even set foot in a clinic. She turned to chiropractic with passion, drawn to the idea of guiding her patients toward better neuromusculoskeletal health through a practical, personalized approach centered on the patient and their needs. This interest developed particularly through sports chiropractic, as she had the opportunity to work with and treat the UQTR men’s tennis team throughout the 2025–2026 season. During her time in college, she also participated in a humanitarian mission to the Philippines with Chiropractic Without Borders, providing chiropractic care to people in need. This experience profoundly shaped her vision of the importance of access to chiropractic care around the world. Her practice caters to a diverse clientele, including athletes, children, seniors, pregnant women, and people simply looking to improve their daily health. She knows how to tailor her approach to each individual’s needs, without limiting herself to any particular clientele or condition. Whether the goal is to optimize athletic performance, support a pregnancy, relieve everyday discomfort, or provide preventive care, she tailors each treatment plan to the specific needs of the individual in front of her. Outside the clinic, Dr. Prokhorova leads an active lifestyle herself. She regularly cycles, runs, and loves the outdoors. This active lifestyle fuels her understanding of the body in motion and her ability to effectively guide her patients toward achieving their health goals. Dr. Prokhorova’s mission is to help each patient feel good in their own body and regain full functionality in their daily lives. Whether it’s resuming an activity they love, moving without pain, or simply improving their quality of life, she does everything she can to guide her patients toward their goals, one consultation at a time.
